"Some places do not inspire you to return, but Nascondiglio di Bacco pulls at your heart, so you know you will be there again. Situated as it is in the most incredible paesaggio, with only the charming sound of an occasional tractor to break the peaceful silence. One comes to regret being drawn away to tourist meccas, and one resolves to 'stay home' on subsequent visit and draw the healing peace of the vineyards, the olive groves and the handworking contadini. And then there is the blessing that is Bacco. St Francis is pleased with him and so are we. May we be fortunate enough to breathe the air here again.
